Bible Study:
Weekly small group bible studies with trustworthy resources, curriculums, and materials. These studies will also include biblical encouragement so the participants walk more closely with God and expand their influence for Christ. Health Awareness:
Monthly health workshops and seminars will seek to promote and improve the health, safety, and quality of li
fe for the women. This component will raise awareness, encourage activities, and provide resources to aid women in making healthy choices for themselves and their families. Life Skills Training:
Life Skills Training will assist those we serve live more successfully and function better in their multiple roles as members of a family, school, community, and workplace. Life Skills Training will include but are not limited to; decision making, goal setting, time management, job readiness, budgeting, cooking, etiquette, sewing, crafting, and gardening. Mentoring:
Individual and group mentoring will be available for teens and women. Individual mentoring will involve a one on one relationship while group mentoring involves one mentor forming a relationship with a small group. Networking and Support System:
2:20 Ministries desires to be a support system for women in all phases and walks of life. We seek to share information and resources so ALL women reach their full potential for Christ. It is also our goal to support and partner with local churches, ministries, and other non-profit agencies. Speaking and Teaching:
Our ministry is committed to spreading the Good News of Jesus Christ. Our goal is to communicate biblical truth that inspire greater obedience, challenge the listener, and help those we serve understand the Bible better. We are available to speak at women and teen conferences, school, civic and community events. Transitional Living:
Providing short term housing for teen girls aging out of the foster care system is the goal for Transitional Living. Transitional housing is intended to provide a safe and temporary environment until long term housing is available.
