Christ The King Lutheran Church Christ the King is a Missouri Synod Lutheran Church (LCMS) located in Enterprise, AL. Join us for Worship Service at 10:30 am every Sunday. Join us this Sunday!

Christ the King Lutheran Church is a member of the Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod (LCMS). The LCMS is a mission-oriented, Bible-based, confessional Christian denomination headquartered in St. Louis, Mo., founded on the teachings of Martin Luther. Sunday School and Bible Study - At 9:00 am, we offer Sunday School (from September through May) for children, and a Bible Study for adults. Bible Study

continues throughout the year, and it is open for all who would like to attend. Active conversation is encouraged. Worship Service - At 10:30 am, we hold a "traditional" Worship Service, using the Lutheran Service Book (hymnal). We also use a projection system to enhance our worship service and better accommodate our visitors, who may not be familiar with the Liturgy of our Service. Fellowship - Following the Worship Service we invite all to join us in our Fellowship Hall for coffee and snacks. This is a great opportunity to get to know each other and share in conversation and fellowship.

O Lord God Almighty, we are in Your hands. You pronounce us sinners, and we accept the truth of Your Word. May we be quick to confess our sin. Thank You for leading us to this confession through Your Law and promises. Keep us alive, O blessed and faithful Redeemer, for in You alone do we trust. Amen.

"God permits suffering in our lives for a variety of reasons. Sometimes it comes as a direct result of our own sin in order to discipline us. Other times it is an effect of being God’s child in a world that wants to crush His Church. Although we do not know God’s hidden will, we trust He has only the best in mind for us. He will strengthen, uphold, and bless us in the midst of persecution. He will use any afflictions we face for our good or for blessing others. With our eyes on the cross, we can endure. Our God will preserve us, and He has prepared an eternal home for us in heaven for the sake of Christ."

Lord God, in the midst of trials and persecution, keep our hearts and minds stayed on You, our only refuge. Amen.
