Amazing opportunity in South Africa. We were able to watch the second water well the Upper Midwest funded through our offering at Annual Conference being drilled. Thank you to every person and church that supported this project.

It’s such a joy to receive the news that the first water well, made possible through the generous donations of our congregations, has been completed!

Let’s celebrate and give thanks to God for His faithfulness! This is just the beginning. Our conference raised enough funds to provide more than 13 wells like this one!

What an incredible reminder of what God can do when we come together in generosity and faith. To God be the glory!

We are excited to share that Bishop Mark Webb has been assigned to serve Area 3 in the Global Methodist Church which includes our Upper Midwest Conference. We look forward to being blessed by his leadership for the next 6 years.

We asked our African brothers and sisters what this historic moment means to them, and their answers remind us of something powerful: we truly are a Global Methodist Church!

What have our delegates been up to these last two days at General Conference?

Let us join as one in prayer for Nepal and those affected by the disastrous flooding.

🙏 Join us in praying for Nepal in the aftermath of flash flooding that led to devastating mudslides. We received word from our churches in the area–several churches have been damaged, and members or pastors are missing or tragically died. For Timure Church in Rasuwa, only the pastor survived.

The GMC disaster response team is actively working with churches in this area. Pray for the churches, families, missing people and the affected communities.

To our brothers and sisters in Nepal–we care about you and are praying for you.
