Bardwell is featured in a new exhibit at the Ellis County Museum in Waxahachie. “Women of Ellis County” showcases notable women in the county over the past 150 years. Two of them are from Bardwell…Sidney Catherine Roach (who is buried at Elm Branch) and Mae Boren Axton.
