We got the chance to do some unexpected street ministry with these two this morning. Scripture tells us "“For where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.”

And this morning James, Damon and Josh sure felt His presence as they talked to a new friend who is experiencing homelessness. For privacy sake we didn’t get a photo of the gentleman and aren’t posting his name but we did get permission to tell a piece of his story. He has been set free from addiction by the grace of God. He has been clean for 8 months now. He is praying and believing for a job and desires to one day own his own tow truck and have a family. Would you please join us in prayer for our new friend?

While in Detroit we had the chance to meet Pam. She was in a sober living facility and after hearing our friend Pastor Thomas share the gospel, Pam asked Jesus to forgive her of her sins and be the Lord of her life. We were able to follow up with her and a few others in Detroit for a while and last we heard Pam was living out her new life in Christ. Join us today in praising God for His transforming power.

We met Kayla in Indianapolis a while back. Kayla prayed with us and gave one of the most beautiful prayers we have ever heard. She had just gotten clean from drugs and was obviously a shining part of our trip to Indy. It’s our prayer that she has remained clean and is living a life that is honorable to God. Please pray for her and all of our friends facing homelessness.

In honor of Women’s History month we are going to post some of the women we have met over the past few years. Homelessness is especially dangerous for women because of the prevalence of human trafficking among other dangers and difficulties that come with living on the streets. This 1st picture is of Liz who we met a couple of years ago in Asheville NC. She was super thankful for the supplies and shared with us her concerns for her friend who was also experiencing homelessness.

Tyler listening to one gentleman while the other was reading his new bible. The reaction to receiving a Bible is always interesting. Some (like this fella) are excited and immediately open it and start reading. Some pay no attention and others try to give them back to us. We never take them back but we do make sure that everyone gets one.

This gentleman was one of the most positive people we have ever met. He has a lot that he could complain about, being homeless, diabetes, and the list keeps going but he said he is going to keep going. Very thankful to share his story and for the supplies he began to encourage us to keep going. Would you join us in praying for him?
