INSPIRATION BEHIND THE VISION
One Sunday night during our evening services, a member of our congregation stood up and read the scripture of Habakkuk 2:2 & 3. And the Lord answer me and said, Write the vision and make it plain upon the table, that he may run and readeth it. 3. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak and not lie; though it tarry, wait for
it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry." - Habakkuk 2:2&3
A Person visiting our congregation said that he was given the same scriptures earlier that same day. I penned the following words before that service:
THE VISION
The church will become a functional body of believers who will seek God in all things. It will become the place in which the Spirit will flow through. Unbelievers will enter to receive from the salvation as well. They will drink of the Living Waters that will quench their spiritual thirst. These souls will be made clean through the Word which God has spoken and the Blood of the Lamb. The sick and the afflicted will receive healing as the power of God would move through the church. They will make use of the handicap ramp to enter the church, but they wont need it when they leave in JESUS' Name. Those that need a miracle wont be disappointed in God. The youth will allow Jesus to become Lord of their life. His Word will be a light unto their path. Out of their mouths of babes will become praise; for the Lamb of God and all shall testify of His goodness. The fear and reverence of God would return to our hearts of people. That we might become broken bread and poured out wine to feed others. I know that this world will never have utopia, but the pressures of life will increase. Jesus said in John 16:33 "In the world ye shall have tribulations; but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world." I pray that our churches will overcome the world and become a place of refuge from the storms of life. God Bless
