Mayflower is an intentionally Christian faith community. Our church centers our worship on the Bible and the traditions of our Christian faith. We believe that "God is still speaking!" and that God's voice has not gone mute. We seek to find God's presence today, in a way that makes our faith relevant in our 21st century everyday, real world. Mayflower lovingly includes all persons and actively embraces differences of sexual orientation, gender, marital status, age, mental and physical ability, race, ethnicity, economic condition, and opinion. We welcome all to share in the life and leadership of our congregation, in its ministry, fellowship, worship, and sacraments, and in all the responsibilities and blessings that come with participation. Accessible: In the Spring of 2009, Mayflower completed construction on a new tower. The new tower is equipped with an elevator, and two handicap accessible restrooms.

It was a wonderful Christmas season at Mayflower Church! We held our first children's recital in many years, revived the Christmas Cantata, saw record participation in the Spontaneous Pageant, and the Christmas Eve Candlelight Service was the best attended in recent memory. We are so grateful to everyone discovering our beautiful church!

It's the most wonderful time of the year at Mayflower Church! Experience the joy of community and worship in a welcoming atmosphere.

Here's a look at upcoming events:
🎄Nov. 23 - Pie Share Sunday & Hanging of the Greens: Bring a pie to share after service, and hang around to decorate the sanctuary!
🎄Dec. 14 - Mayflower Choir Cantata: Experience the joy of the Christmas season through song.
🎄Dec. 21 - Spontaneous Christmas Pageant & Cookie Exchange: No rehearsals necessary for this telling of the Christmas story, just a good sense of humor! Feel free to bring a batch of cookies to share!
🎄Dec. 24, 4 p.m. - Traditional Christmas Eve service, culminating in a stirring candlelit rendition of Silent Night.

Mayflower Church is "Open and Affirming," meaning people of all races, beliefs, and gender identities are warmly welcome for full participation.

Mayflower Church is at 3001 S. Acoma St. in Englewood. Sunday services are held at 10 a.m.

Nothing clears the center aisle before service quite like calling out "Kids with fire coming through!"

Mayflower kids light the altar candles at the start of each service, symbolizing the light of God in our midst. Plus, the kids just like open flame.
