As we bring our Texas trip to a close, our hearts are overflowing with joy, having had the opportunity to host three meet the president gatherings, visit Cadence Alumni, and our Hospitality Houses, and meet numerous military families. Hello friends! Last night, we held our second Texas "Meet the President" gathering in Killeen, TX, at the Cadence Soldiers Hospitality House. It was truly a special time of a diverse group of active-duty military, chaplains, local pastors, and alumni attended. The evening was filled with a sense of community, heartfelt storytelling, and a shared vision for Cadence.

A huge thank you to Peter and Breanna Adams and their family for their sacrifice, generous hospitality, and love that made this gathering a huge success. We also want to thank those in this community for their prayer and financial support through donation of time and talents to keep this ministry going.

We are deeply grateful for our military families and are excited to see the amazing things God will continue to do in and through this community.

Hello Alumni and friends!

As most of you know, we left snowy Colorado this past Saturday morning heading to Texas to help host three “Meet the Cadence President” gatherings.

About four hours down the road we had a tire blowout on the RV in the middle of nowhere in New Mexico. It ended up taking out our electrical harness and motherboard. Definitely not in the plan—but we’re okay!

Grateful for new tires, and for an RV shop already getting parts on order so we can keep moving and the huge blessing of staying with our son and his wife while repairs are happening.

It made me think of something C. S. Lewis said: “Courage is not simply one of the virtues, but the form of every virtue at the testing point.”

And we’re holding onto this:
“Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid… for the Lord your God goes with you.” — Deuteronomy 31:6

We’re still headed to multiple cities in Texas for our “Meet the Cadence President” gatherings starting this Friday night—and trusting God every mile of the way.

We celebrated another incredible 'meet the new Cadence president' gathering in Oak Brook, IL last night, and it was a special time to hear Dave Hutchings' heart and vision for Cadence ministry. We are grateful to Rita, Sam, and Elise for your hospitality and generosity in inviting friends, providing delicious food, and welcoming us into your beautiful home. We celebrated another incredible 'meet the new Cadence president' gathering in Kenosha, WI, last night, and it was truly an unforgettable experience!
We are deeply grateful to Mark, Dan, and family, for their hospitality and generosity in hosting us with warmth and delicious food. We appreciate the ways you are spreading the gospel and sharing your lives in the Great Lakes area. Many awe-inspiring stories were shared, expressing God's faithfulness through Cadence. To God be the glory great things HE has done!
