We are celebrating Sister Cynthia Cheruto Bundi, CSJP, who was recently featured in The Catholic Worker newsletter for her incredible dedication at St. Joseph’s House and Maryhouse!

The feature highlighted her "eagerness to help," her "joyous disposition," and described her as someone who carries out her work "with delight."

As part of her second year of novitiate, Sister Cynthia lived at the CSJP Grand Street residence in New Jersey while serving with the Catholic Worker community in New York.

On the final day of the 2026 Assembly, congregation leadership gathered with sister-delegates for a group photo. This special 70th anniversary event honored leaders past and present, including Kathleen Pruitt, CSJP, who was recognized for her service as LCWR President in 2001 and current role as Region 15 Chair, and Sheena George, who was recognized for her service as a national board member (2025–2026).
