Main Street United Methodist Church, Emporia Join us on Sunday mornings for Sunday School at 9:45am and Worship Service at 11:00am--nursery provided. Bring a sandwich.

UMYF -- Youth Ministry Sundays 6pm
For teens, grades 7-12 (open to all teens regardless of church affiliation or denomination) "We combine fellowship and fun with devotions and biblical study to grow in our faith." United Methodist Women 1st Tuesday of each month Noon September-May. Fellowship and creative programs on local and global ministries. Margaret Parker Circle 2nd Wednesday of each month 10:30am September-May. This women's ministry supports the church through Bible Study and fellowship. United Methodist Men 4th Tuesday of each month at 6:30pm (except July). Dinner, fellowship, and spiritual development of members is the focus of UMM; support is provided to the church and community through various projects. Music Ministry, Tuesdays, 7:30pm except July and August.

Virginia Cooperative Extension 4-H Summer Internship Opportunity in Greensville/Emporia!

We will be hiring a paid intern for the 2026 summer. Applicants must be currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a four-year accredited college or university in a course of study relevant to the mission of Extension (leadership, education, agriculture, etc.).

The intern will work closely with the Greensville/Emporia 4-H Extension Agent on all summer 4-H programming, including: 4-H summer camp, day camps, club events, school enrichments, and more.
