Today marks ONE WEEK until our Summer Interns arrive on camp for Staff Training!

Summer interns are an integral part of our staff during the busy season to assist and lead programs while learning the ins and outs of being a wilderness instructor. They are one of DM's biggest ministry opportunities as they live and learn beside our full-time staff.

Next up on the Discovery Ministries calendar - the SENT Initiative Expedition!

DM partners with the SENT Initiative as they prepare college students for the challenges of the mission field. Students spend a week on a Challenge Trip with DM Staff and then come back for another week of intense classroom training.

Please join us this week in praying for the students and our staff.

We are looking forward to how God will reveal Himself on these trips and prepare these young missionaries to do His work in Italy and Belgium!

Staff House Update!

Much progress has been made on our new staff house! Praise be to the Lord.

Lights are in, water heaters tested, painting completed, appliances being moved in, and many more exciting finishing touches (even as small as light switch covers!)

This new space offers housing for our Summer interns and increases our ability to house full-time instructors year-round, expanding our ministry capabilities.
Thank you for your prayers and contributions to this project as we seek to bless our staff and continue to impact God's Kingdom at DM!

There is still much more to do. If you are able to contribute to help us finish, we would be blessed by any amount!

Endeavor Wilderness 1: June 6th-13th, 2026

Homeschool high schoolers (and parents) -- are you looking for a new experience this Summer?

Consider participating in Discovery Ministry's Endeavor Wilderness program, June 6-13th.

Our wilderness expeditions are like no other! Each cohort of students are taught campcraft, navigation, and leadership skills by our staff and spend the next week together in the wilderness.

These challenge trips provide students leadership opportunities, basic outdoor skills training, and a unique environment to meet and grow with the Lord.

Did you know Discovery Ministries offers a full day of Orienteering?

These Trail Life boys donned their hiking boots and navigational skills for a day of orienteering training and hands-on experience leading through real terrain.

Their troop had been learning about map & compass skills and came to DM for guided, practical experience in orienteering.

If your troop/group is looking for a real-life application of this skill or needs experience for an achievement, visit us at DM! Whether your group is beginner or advanced, our staff would love to partner with you and develop this skill.
