Pope Leo requests Prayers for Peace

Pope Leo has issued a request that the faithful Pray for Peace on May 30. With this in mind, Bishop Edward Rice will be celebrating the 9 a.m. Mass in Holy Trinity Parish, Springfield, on Sat., May 30, with a recitation of a Rosary for Peace following the liturgy.

"Accompanying his repeated calls for an end to war, Pope Leo XIV will preside over the recitation of the Holy Rosary on May 30 in the Vatican Gardens, with each decade dedicated to people impacted by war—from families torn apart to medical personnel and volunteers." - Vatican News
