Heaven rejoices! ❤️

Tonight, we had the incredible privilege of watching a young woman give her life to Jesus!

Jesus reminds us in Luke 15:10 that “there is joy before the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”

Tonight, heaven is rejoicing—and so are we.

Would you join us in praying for her as she begins this new journey with Christ? Pray that her faith would take deep root, that she would grow in His Word, experience His love in powerful ways, and be surrounded by people who will encourage and disciple her.

What a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

One more life belongs to Jesus. 🙌❤️

Today was the last Wednesday night before Creide, one of our faithful Kids Club leaders, heads off to college. Our Sunday evening crew wanted to celebrate him and his faithfulness.

For over a year, Creide has faithfully served our kids—teaching nearly every Wednesday night at Kids Club and nearly every Sunday morning during Sunday School.

Week after week, he has shown up, opened God’s Word, loved these kids, and invested in the next generation. We are so incredibly proud of his heart to serve and his willingness to say yes to Jesus.

You don’t have to wait until you’re older to be used by God. ❤️

📚 MARK YOUR CALENDARS — THIS SUNDAY! 🎓🙏

This Sunday, August 16, we’re taking a special moment during our 9:00 AM worship service for our College Send-Off & Back to School Blessing.

As a new school year begins, we want to surround our students, college students, teachers, school staff, and families in prayer. ❤️

We’ll pray for wisdom for the decisions ahead, protection in the days to come, courage for new beginnings, and God’s guidance every step of the way.

Whether someone is heading off to college, walking into a new classroom, returning for another year, teaching, driving a bus, serving meals, or supporting students behind the scenes—we want to cover them in prayer.

This past Sunday, we were reminded of one of the beautiful truths found in Hebrews: Jesus is our Perfect High Priest.

He understands suffering. He knows obedience. He approached the Father with prayers, cries, and tears. And through His perfect obedience, He became “the source of eternal salvation to all who obey Him.” — Hebrews 5:9

We don’t have a Savior who is distant from our struggles. We have Jesus—our perfect High Priest, who knows, understands, and intercedes for us.

Whatever you’re carrying into this week, remember:

Jesus is greater.
Jesus understands.
Jesus is enough.
