OBEDIENCE IS BETTER THAN SACRIFICE. — 1 SAMUEL 15:22

Sometimes, God requires us to be still and allow Him to work. If someone chooses to go their own way, let them. If they choose to do things according to their own will, release them into God’s hands. We do not have to force what God has not ordained.

There is a season to stand still, a season to wait, and a season to move. When God gives you permission to move forward, trust Him enough to take the step without looking back.

Life is too short to spend precious time worrying about things that God has already instructed you to surrender. Protect your peace, guard your heart, and trust the direction God is leading you.

This morning, I am grateful that God woke me up, blessed me with another day, and kept me in my right mind. His grace and mercy continue to sustain me.

Obedience is better than sacrifice.
Being still is better than moving in the wrong direction.
Trust God, not man.
Watch God, not man.
Follow God, not the crowd.

When God is ordering your steps, you do not have to explain yourself to everyone. You simply have to trust Him, obey His voice, and allow Him to work everything out in His perfect timing.

I choose obedience.
I choose peace.
I choose to trust God.
And I choose to move only when God says, “Move.”

God, order my steps and give me the wisdom to know when to stand still and when to move.
