We had two special visitors in worship today, Pastor Ron Perry and his wife, Vickie. Ron served our church as Pastor from June of 2011 to August 8, 2020 when he resigned due to illness.
Today our church body conferred on him the status of Pastor Emeritus due to his excellent service as Pastor of Oaks Community Church.
Thankyou Pastor Ron and Vickie for your love, fellowship and Bible Preaching ! We love you.

As of today no more wearing of masks in Church! This is Great, everyone looks so different.

Please note, Due to the increase in Covid-19 cases Oaks Community Church will not be holding public worship services at this time. We will post when this changes.
Please keep everyone in prayer that Iowa and all states will act responsibly during this increase.

Prayers in Seeking a Pastor

Pastor Ron Perry, due to failing health
Resigned on August 9th due to his health. We are saddened a he has preached and served for 7 some years sharing God’s Word faithfully.
According to the Elders this morning we will be seeking another Pastor soon. As Elder Chuck stated this morning, “.....we need a Leader.”
Please keep this a matter of prayer and also pray for Pastor Ron and his wife , Vickie.

Church News
The Iowa Governor has opened Chuches up to meet in certain counties.

The Elders & Pastor of Oaks Community Church are discussing this and will inform our people on their decision to open in a safe manor.
