Ascension Lutheran Church in Emerado , ND, recently closed its doors after years of dwindling membership. With the proceeds from the sale of the building and its furnishings, the church made gifts to area organizations including the local food pantry, Emerado school, the new church home for many of their members (in Honeyford), and a $50,000 gift to the Emerado Community Endowment Fund. What a wonderful way to leave their legacy in this community forever! Thank you!
