Meet our new missions intern! This is Gracianna Beckett.

* I am 15 years old and i am going to be a sophomore at Open Door Christian Schools.
* I love riding horses and have been riding for 7 years and have my own horse named Lady Di.
* I started to play soccer this year and I am a cheerleader for open door as well.
* I am so excited to be able to be working for such a wonderful person like Des this summer and helping with the missions at open door!

Stories from Missionary H. :

In the Middle East, the Lord has been moving in powerful ways and many are having dreams of a Man in white. While ministering in a refugee camp I had befriended a middle-aged mom of a large family. While we were there, she pointed to her nine-year-old daughter and said that when she was her daughter's age she had had a dream. Throughout the years this dream had stayed with her, and she had never forgotten it, although no one knew what it meant. But she was convinced that God had spoken to her through the dream and that one day He had a gift for her. She began to share the dream with us.
“I was in a basement with my two brothers when a ​Man walked down into the basement with us. His head and hair were white like wool or snow, He shined like light and fire​. One of my brothers was huddle and shivering cold. He walked up to him and wrapped him in a white blanket and said, ‘So you will never be cold again.’ My other brother was starving with hunger. He walked up to him and gave him food and said, ‘So you will never be hungry again.’ Then He turned to leave. My heart dropped within me. At first, I was afraid to chase after Him, but then ​I couldn’t stand it so I ran after Him. I grabbed Him ​and said, ‘Wait, what about me? Where is my gift?’ and He turned to me and said, ‘Not yet.’ and then He left. Now, all these years I’ve been wondering and waiting for His gift. My daughter is the age I was when I had the dream, and I am still wondering when I will get my gift from Him.” One of the believers with me turned to Revelation 1 in the Arabic Bible and showed our friend the passage describing Jesus amongst the lampstands. Our friend began to proclaim with loud shock and excitement, “This was the Man! ​This was the Man in my dream!​ How do you know Him? ​Do you know the gift He has for me?​”
We shared the gospel with her, the gift of eternal life, which she had never heard before as we were the first believers she had ever met​. She couldn’t believe that all this time we knew the Man of her dreams and what His gift was for her, and that she finally was able to know herself.

As you know we support many missionaries all over the world. Most of our missionaries are able to share the gospel openly without danger to them or the organizations they work with. However, we do have a few who are in secure locations that we have to be careful how much we share about them for their safety. This is the case with this month's missionary, Missionary H. H. works somewhere in the middle east with an organization that focuses on prayer as their central means of bringing the gospel to people in that country. She has witnessed countless amazing miracles where God has revealed to many people in dreams and visions who He is and directed them to her team to share more of who He is! During the month of June we are blessed that H. is actually here in town until she goes back in July. Over the next month we will be having private meet and greets and showing a documentary about her organizations. We are so thankful to support H. and the great work that He is doing through her!

It’s May and that means we are featuring a new missionary of the month!

Meet Giovanni, Susie and their two boys Diego and Esteban. They are originally from La Libertad El Salvador and worked in the Youth ministry at Pastor Ivo’s church there. In 2019 they were called by GCLA (Great Commision Latin America) to move to San Miguel (3 hours away from La Libertad) and start a house church. In february of 2020 they opened up their house on Valentines day to celebrate friendship and have been serving in the schools and hospitals there. They are praying to see where God leads them as they continue to see where they can serve this city.
