We can’t wait to welcome our community to A Fresh Wind on Saturday, October 24, from 10AM–1PM for a morning full of fall fun, family, and memories!

🙌 We still need volunteers! Fall Fest is an incredible opportunity to love on our community, and we couldn’t make it happen without YOU! There are still plenty of ways to get involved and help make this day special.

This month, we’re celebrating Principal Nikole and Assistant Principal Mr. Shaw at General Johnnie Wilson Middle School!

GJW holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re so grateful for the opportunity to come alongside the students, staff, and families who make up this school community.

We want to take a moment to thank Ms. Nikole and Mr. Shaw for their leadership, dedication, and the countless ways they invest in their students and staff. The work you do each day makes a difference, and we hope you know how appreciated you are!

This Sunday, October 18th, during our 9AM service, we’re celebrating Child Dedications at A Fresh Wind!

Child Dedication is a special opportunity for parents to publicly thank God for the gift of their children and commit to raising them to know and follow Jesus. It’s also a time for our church family to come alongside these families in prayer, encouragement, and support. ❤️

👶 Have a child ages 0–5? We would love for your family to be part of this special service.

Today we’re celebrating our incredible Children’s Ministry Director, Miss Victoria!

It was just one year ago, on Pastor Appreciation Sunday, that we announced Victoria would be stepping into this role, and what a blessing she has been to our Fresh Wind Kids ministry!

From our tiniest babies all the way through sixth grade, Victoria oversees a ministry dedicated to helping the next generation know and grow in their relationship with Jesus. From coordinating classrooms and leading volunteers to planning lessons, activities, and everything in between, there is so much that goes on behind the scenes to make Sunday mornings possible!

But children’s ministry is about so much more than what happens in a classroom on Sunday mornings. It’s about planting seeds of faith, building a foundation on God’s Word, and helping children discover just how much Jesus loves them!

Victoria and Justin, thank you for your hearts for our church family, your willingness to serve, and the many ways you pour into the next generation. We are so thankful God has called you to be part of what He is doing here at A Fresh Wind.

Pastor Appreciation Sunday is October 11th and we are celebrating our Pastors and Ministry Leaders. Today we’re celebrating our incredible Worship Leader, Teresa!

If you know Teresa, you know she brings plenty of fun, energy, and joy wherever she goes, but even more than that, she has a heart that genuinely wants everyone to know and experience the love of Jesus.

Teresa doesn’t simply lead us in singing on Sunday mornings. She continually brings us back to Scripture and reminds us who the God is that we’re worshiping and why He is worthy of our praise. Whether she’s leading from the stage, encouraging someone one on one, or serving alongside Pastor Tim, her desire is always for people to know Jesus more.

She reminds us that we were made for more, that every one of us has a testimony, and that no story is beyond the saving and redeeming power of Jesus.

Teresa, thank you for the countless hours you pour into our worship ministry, for the joy you bring, for your faithfulness to God’s Word, and for always pointing people back to Jesus. We are so thankful God has called you to lead and serve at A Fresh Wind.

Today we’re celebrating Pastor Jared and the incredible way he and Allison pour into the next generation at Fresh Wind Youth!

Week after week, Jared and Allison create a place where our students know they are wanted, welcomed, cared for, and loved. Ask our teens what they appreciate about them and you’ll hear that Jared is always excited to see them, he makes youth group fun, he genuinely cares about people, and he’s always there when someone needs him. And Allison brings an energy and joy that makes every student feel like she’s genuinely excited they walked through the door.

(We’ve also been told Jared has a pretty great beard… so apparently that deserves some appreciation too. 😂)

But behind all the fun are two people who are deeply committed to pointing students toward Jesus. Jared and Allison, thank you for showing up, investing in our teens, celebrating them, encouraging them, and creating a place where they can belong while discovering more in Christ.

Fresh Wind Youth is better because of the two of you, and we’re so thankful God has called you to lead this generation. We love and appreciate you both! 🤍

Pastor Appreciation Sunday is October 11th, and this week we’re celebrating the pastors and ministry leaders who faithfully serve our Fresh Wind family!

Today, we’re celebrating Pastor Ryan! 🎉

If you’ve spent much time around Pastor Ryan, you’ve probably heard him talk about “saying yes before you even get started.” His heart is to see people say yes to Jesus, trust Him with what comes next, and continue taking steps forward in their faith.

Pastor Ryan has a genuine passion for leading others to discover more in Christ, and that shows in the way he teaches, encourages, challenges, and walks alongside people. Whether from the stage or through a conversation, he continually encourages people to take their next step and trust God along the way.

And beside him through ministry and life is his wife, Joy. We’re so thankful for the way they faithfully follow where God leads and for the time, heart, and sacrifice that goes into serving our church family and community.

Pastor Ryan, thank you for continually challenging us to say YES to Jesus and discover that there is always MORE in Christ!
