As a congregation our desire is to pe*****te the darkness in our community and point lost souls to the true light, Jesus Christ, and provide hope to those that are floundering in the sea of life. Hello all.

I am sending this email to ask for anyone who is interested in helping with the youth to be at a meeting on Sunday 8/23 after church. I am needing help with choosing games, preparing lessons, Sunday school lessons, and being part of this ministry in other ways. We have a small group and I want it to grow both in God and in numbers. Please... if you are able to help out, I need it. HAHA. I am looking into possibly doing some snack on Sunday evenings also. Youth meet at 6pm until about 7:30 on Sunday evenings.

REMINDER: This Sunday's Worship at Main Street Wesleyan is @ 9:30, not 10:30.

Community Worship Service is still happening @ 11:00. It has been moved from the park to East Main Street Christian Church due to all the rain, flooding and sogginess.

Today was an incredible Sunday! Eight men and women either reaffirmed their baptism or were baptized for the first time! Pastor Tim Becker always reminds us that when someone comes out of the water we are to cheer and clap more than we do when we're watching our favorite team play because these men and women are playing for God's team. Heaven cheers as do we! Congratulations to our brothers and sisters in Christ! We will continue to walk alongside you through your faith journey!

This past Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day by gifting four baskets to four lucky Mommas whose names were drawn. We are so thankful for all the many women in our church family.
