e your Father in Heaven." The purpose of the beacon in a Lighthouse is to pe*****te the darkness and guide lost ships to safety. As a congregation our desire is to pe*****te the darkness in our community and point lost souls to the true light, Jesus Christ, and provide hope to those that are floundering in the sea of life. May Main Street Wesleyan Church always be a friendly church that lets its light shine and may others see Jesus in us.

Today was an incredible Sunday! Eight men and women either reaffirmed their baptism or were baptized for the first time! Pastor Tim Becker always reminds us that when someone comes out of the water we are to cheer and clap more than we do when we're watching our favorite team play because these men and women are playing for God's team. Heaven cheers as do we! Congratulations to our brothers and sisters in Christ! We will continue to walk alongside you through your faith journey!

This past Sunday we celebrated Mother's Day by gifting four baskets to four lucky Mommas whose names were drawn. We are so thankful for all the many women in our church family. Ghana Ministries will be with us this Sunday, February 1, during our morning worship service, and we are excited to welcome them!

Ghana Ministries is a nonprofit organization with a heart for the children of Ghana, Africa. Their mission is to serve children through education and healthcare, always keeping Christ at the center of everything they do. They are also in the process of developing New Light Children’s Home, which will provide care and hope for children in Ghana.

Join us Sunday morning to hear more about how God is working through this ministry and how lives are being impacted. We hope you’ll be there to worship with us and learn more about this meaningful work.
