This last Tuesday morning our dear sister in the Lord passed away. Sis. Joyce Huse will always be remembered for her kindness, but also for her faithfulness to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It was truly a privilege to pastor her for the time that she was at AWC. She was a great Saint, Sunday School Teacher, ECA School Teacher and so much more. Our prayers are with her family at this time of loss. Itā€™s never easy to say goodbye, but we will one day be reunited when we meet Jesus at His return. The funeral will be at 11 am this coming Saturday, July 17th at the Cline Hilton Funeral Home in New London. Visitation is Friday evening from 4 pm to 7 pm and again on Saturday from 10 am to 11 am with funeral starting at 11 am.

Psalm 118:24 ā€œThis is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.ā€ If you find yourself depressed or with a heavy heart. If your frustrated and confused, discontent, angry or afraid. If you feel that your world is falling apart and things arenā€™t going your way. I have one word of hope for you today... with God the impossible is always possible. This is the day that the Lord has made, I will rejoice and be glad in it. Today can be the day that you make the choice to change your fate. Put your life into the hands of Jesus Christ. Make Him your Lord and place your trust in Him and everything will be alright. Greeting in the Name above all names. Jesus should be everything to us. He should be special at all times, but especially during difficult times. I am praying that this challenging message will be a blessing to you today. As I ask a question, I also pray that you will make and keep Jesus as the LORD of your life. He paid the great price for our redemption and because of that we are not our own... we are His. With that surrender comes the life we are all searching for. Who owns you? Tonight we finish our study on biblical leadership. I hope itā€™s a blessing to all. We as born again believers are called to lead. In our home, in our church, in our community, our nation and our world. We need to have organization and we need to also have the right attitude. Thatā€™s what our lesson tonight is all about. Next week we will be starting a new series called, ā€œDefined by our bordersā€. God bless and as always if you would like to join us live at AWC. We would love to see you. We have Impact Training and fellowship every Wednesday at 7pm and Sunday Church service at 10am.

Heys our Wednesday Impact lesson for this week. I had to post it early to to schedule issues. This is lesson 6 in Biblical leadership. Next week we will be gathering back at the church for Impact training and fellowship @ 7pm. Please join us as we look how God ordained both servant and static leadership to work together. Here is this weeks Impact lesson. This is lesson 4 in our 7 week series on Biblical leadership. If you havenā€™t yet views the previous lessons, I would start there. Lesson 7 will be an exciting lesson as we discover the true biblical design for leadership and since leadership impacts our every day lives, it will prove to be insightful as well as revolutionary. It will well worth your time to view especially with everything that we are dealing with in our world today. I hope that this finds you well and may Jesus bless you as you watch this lesson. Hereā€™s lesson 4 on Biblical Leadership. This week we will begin our study on Static (Organizational) Leadership. Our next 2 lessons will be dealing with this subject and then we will be back at church on Wednesdays for Impact training and fellowship. Today we will be at church for prayer and fellowship... come and join us. Our world needs our prayers now more than ever before. Impact lesson 3 servant leadership. I hope these lessons are a blessing. Leadership is something that all of us need to understand in order to be successful in life. Every Wednesday we have an Impact lesson that will help equip us to not only understand, but actively impact our world. God bless and just a reminder that the church is open every Wednesday at 7pm for prayer and fellowship. Come on out an join us. Our world needs prayer now more than ever before.
