When playing cards a couple of months ago, Pastor Michelle and a few others heard the struggle of one our neighbors that needed their house painted to keep their insurance and she didn't know what she was going to do but was leaving it in "God's hands". We then realized we are called to be the hands of God. So we sent out the call and picked a day. We started at 8am and finished by 330. Had over 20 people involved. Whether it was scrapping, painting or making sure we were well fed. We showed our community today what it meant to be God's people. Special thanks to the Gretna Ace Hardware for helping us out with paint.
