Our work is worship, whether we are doing the dishes or leading a large team; picking up Legos for the tenth time or making a pot of coffee to share with a friend.
When they arrived he declared, “You know that from the day I set foot in the province of Asia until now I have done the Lord’s work humbly and with many tears... But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus…the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.”— Acts 20:18-24
Let’s be like Paul today: bound by the Holy Spirit, working for the Lord, and sharing the Good News not just with our words, but with our quiet acts of service.
That meal you made brings conversation around the dinner table. The laundry you wash provides an opportunity to pray for your family. The plants you water serve as a reminder to water your relationships.
Do the work humbly and for the glory of God.
