Just because an intention is good doesn't mean it’s God's will. Good intentions can misguide, hurt, or even deter us.

But Godly intentions? They can always be trusted.

If you missed Sunday’s sermon, catch the replay on our website.

Our work is worship, whether we are doing the dishes or leading a large team; picking up Legos for the tenth time or making a pot of coffee to share with a friend.

When they arrived he declared, “You know that from the day I set foot in the province of Asia until now I have done the Lord’s work humbly and with many tears... But my life is worth nothing to me unless I use it for finishing the work assigned me by the Lord Jesus…the work of telling others the Good News about the wonderful grace of God.”— Acts 20:18-24

Let’s be like Paul today: bound by the Holy Spirit, working for the Lord, and sharing the Good News not just with our words, but with our quiet acts of service.

That meal you made brings conversation around the dinner table. The laundry you wash provides an opportunity to pray for your family. The plants you water serve as a reminder to water your relationships.

Do the work humbly and for the glory of God.

🧹 What is one mundane task on your to-do list today that you can intentionally turn into an act of worship?

Worship is a spiritual weapon.

Some Sundays, we show up to church carrying things that tempt us to hold back. But have you ever noticed what happens when you choose to sing or to lift your hands? Singing out loud when your heart is heavy shifts something inside of you, reminding you of who is still on the throne.

Praise isn't a reward we give to God when things are going well. Praise is a declaration that God is still good, even when our circumstances aren't.

When your heart is happy, sing. And when your heart is heavy, sing louder.

What song refocuses your heart when you’re overwhelmed?

This is our memory verse for the week, Bethel. Why? Because memorizing Scripture equips us for the moments we are tempted to wander into the crowd or bow to an idol.

When we fill our minds with truth, there is less room for the world’s distractions. Write it on a post-it note. Make it your phone lock screen. Do whatever it takes to let it sink deep into your heart today.
