We, the Jewish people, feel a deep sense of gratitude to the United States, which welcomed millions of Jews and developed into the center of Jewish life in the diaspora.
As the bedrock of the Western world and a bastion of freedom and democracy, it was understood by the Rebbe that the United States holds a unique position to positively influence the world. In this spirit, the upcoming America250 celebration is not only a commemoration of America’s founding, but also an opportunity to reflect on the nation’s enduring ideals of liberty, faith, moral responsibility, and opportunity for all.
