Strike up the band and start limbering up for the chicken dance! Oktoberfest is in two days, and we couldn't be more excited about the musical lineup.
Starting at 3:30, we'll have a Bach concert in the sanctuary, featuring talented area musicians from the Immanuel community and friends. You'll hear the fantastic Toccata and Fugue in D minor played by organist Kevin Wong, selections from the Orgelbuchlein played by organist Jordan Holliday, Flute Partita in A minor by the superb Emma Blackwell, as well as selections by vocal soloists Rev. David Seabaugh and Lori Boyer. The Walther Christian Academy Chamber Choir will perform too!
From 5-8pm, Die Musikmeisters will have you dancing the polka with friends and strangers alike.
The music is all free, but if you plan on enjoying the food and beverages, you'll need some tickets. You can purchase tickets in advance at www.ilselmhurst.org/oktoberfest through Thursday night, or you can buy them at the fest.
