Your generosity will make a world of difference! CROP Hunger Walks are community-based walk fundraising events held in cities and towns across the US. They're created to support the global mission of Church World Service, a faith-based organization transforming communities around the globe through just and sustainable responses to hunger, poverty, displacement and disaster.

Partnering with CROP Hunger walks means 25% of the funds raised are returned to the host community to support local hunger fighting efforts.

Local beneficiaries this year include:
+ Community Table, Lombard
+ Disciples Food Pantry, Villa Park
+ Food for the Soul, Addison
+ The Outreach House, Lombard
+ United Community Concerns Association, Elmhurst

Please consider donating to, or joining our ECOS team! It's a 3 mile walk along the Prairie Path and Great Western trail the first Sunday in October for a great cause!

While it's hard to believe it's September already, the good news is that Sunday School at COS will be back in session this week!

Join us Sundays during the 10:00am service for a child-friendly examination of the weekly gospel. We use the "lesson plans that work" curriculum published by the Epicopal Church which compliments the weekly readings.
