This Sunday, St. Peter's UCC and ChristFirst United Methodist invite you to the Juneteenth worship beginning at 9:30am at St. Peter's UCC. There will be a jazz combo, a discussion on racism, a speaker from the Rainbow Push Coalition, and more. Plus, there is a light lunch following worship.

Currently, the plan is to be outside on the St. Peter's lawn. However, weather reports suggest rain Saturday night, possibly into Sunday morning. It's possible worship and the fellowship lunch will be moved inside. The staff and organizers will make the decision Sunday morning. *Either way, everything will be held at St. Peter's.*

The second Wednesday evening of VBS was a hit! We didn't let the storms stop us from having fun and learning about God! The children heard the story of the Widow who gave away all of her coins, made snowglobes, played a game with marbles, learned about animals, sang songs, and played indoor broom hockey.

The VBS Mission Project this year is to adopt animals at Brookfield Zoo, which not only cares for the animals but also helps with conservation. If you're interested in learning more, please see the Weekly Word or contact the office!

The first night of VBS "Snowball Mountain Challenge" was so much fun! The children learned about Joseph and how we can do all things through God who helps us. We did some science, colored our tote bags to hold our goodies, and learned about our VBS Mission Project where we are adopting animals at Brookfield Zoo to help with their care and conservation. Yay VBS!
