As parents we can often feel anxious for our students. We can worry about their learning, their friendships, their emotions, and their experiences at school. We can take heart-God goes with them and He see them. He understands them and He wants the best for them.

Lord, as parents, help us to trust you more with our children. Help us believe that You are with our students, You are doing Your best to inspire them to make good choices, and that there is almost always more to the story. You love them even more than we do and we ask you to create an atmosphere where every student can thrive. And when they are not thriving, we pray that our students would turn to You for help.

Our children can be encouraged to behave in a manner that honors God in their school days. They can help create a school culture of that promotes joy and peace rather than chaos and dissatisfaction.

Lord, help our students bring kindness, good choices, and the capacity to maintain a peace bubble around them. Help them to be brave and channel their energy towards learning and building healthy friendships.

Sometimes a new school year can stir up anxiety.

Lord, we pray that you would calm every heart and teach our students to lead with love and not insecurity. We pray that every student would be able to settle in and find joy in their days. That cheerfulness and calm would be present.

Lord, we pray for our students and school staff as they head back into the classrooms. We pray Your blessing on them. We pray you would settle nerves and build enjoyable learning environments.

Our God desires to show us compassion. He desires to cleanse us from the inside out. He is faithful to save.

As people who have hurts, hangups, and habits, we can take comfort in knowing God as "The Lord Our Righteousness" in that our moral standing, worth, and acceptance before God are entirely based on God's perfection rather than our flawed efforts. Knowing God as Jehovah Tsidkenu shifts the burden of "being good enough" from the us to God.
