FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY: I don’t know if you are aware but June is LGBTQ+ Pride Month. Some cities recognize it, some are not. Some citizens speak out against it - even telling councilmen that it is something that God would not like. I am here to differ. Jesus welcomes all. He does not play favorites. The hate that someone spreads about this is not one who has a heart for Christ. If churches are promoting this hate, then they are one Jesus warned us about. I pray that all seek Christ but not with the mindset of haters or excluders but with hearts of love and compassion. Blessing!
“ You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.” Jeremiah 29:13

FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY: Kids are graduating and many will be starting new journeys. Parents can only hope and pray that they make the right decisions that will lead them to to fulfill their goals (whatever they may be). Sometimes advice will be rendered and not taken. Maybe mistakes will turn into lessons learned. Parents don’t stop worrying or praying with graduation. It continues forever. Knowing Jesus helps parents and kids get through the valleys of life. Let them know God loves them and is for them. Blessings.

“For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future”. Jeremiah 29:11

FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY: I lost my earring. I searched and searched. Now I just have to forget about it and move on. Yes, they were sterling with diamonds but oh well, It isn’t the end of the world.
I know people value “things” they have . I have recently realized maybe there is something to being a minimalist.
We can not take it all with us when we go home to the Father.
“Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. Matthew 6: 19-21

FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY: Many times people just go through the motions of life, Never really standing out, making waves, giving their opinion about different things or rocking the boat. I think we need to put some gusto into our lives and let our lights shine on things. It might take some getting use to but if you don’t, how will others know you who and what you stand for?

“With all this going for us, my dear, dear friends, stand your ground. And don’t hold back. Throw yourselves into the work of the Master, confident that nothing you do for him is a waste of time or effort.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 The Message

FOLLOW JESUS FRIDAY:
Have you ever watched a gardener tend to their plants? They water them, trim them, repot them sometimes and watch them grow. They care for them lovinginly. They mean a lot to them so they care for them.
I mention this on Mothers' Day weekend because they who tend to their plants do so in a motherly way. Loving and protecting, feeding, nurturing, reflecting heavenly lovingkindness and tender mercies. Happy Mothers' Day to all the people who mother others, an incredibly important job.

“Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:.....who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies."
Psalms 103:
