Tuesday devotion.
Do not neglect gathering. We have heard this over and over. Do you neglect gathering with other believers in one accord worshipping the Lord, singing praise to the Lord, being together in corporate prayer? It seems easy to miss Sunday and say we have much better things we need to do, get the oil changed, make sure that new comforter feels even better when waking up and sleep through the day. We do try so hard to make sure we can find a reason not to gather outside of being sick or work that requires us to miss Sundays. Look and ponder the following Scripture from Hebrews.
Hebrews 10:24-25
New International Version
“24 And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds, 25 not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”
Folks now is the time to “not give up meeting together.” Be a part of the church. Be sure to meet and worship and encourage one another.
Start your week of encouraged. I can tell you as the pastor at Aenon, you will walk away happy and encouraged by the other believers meeting together. Have you neglected gathering with the other believers at worship, study groups, Bible classes?
