A Holy Bible believing, Gospel spreading, Grace giving community of faith

Joshua 24:15 – “… choose this day whom you will serve… But as
for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Mission Statement:

To lead people into a fully-devoted relationship with God the Father through Jesus Christ the Son by the Power of the Holy Spirit. We desire to spread the good news of the Gospel in our community

and throughout the world by loving people, cultivating community, and inspiring hope by helping those in need. Statement of Faith:

We as a community of faith believe the Holy Bible alone is the Word of
God; and the only infallible and authoritative rule of faith, life, and practice for every believer. We believe in the Holy Trinity (God the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit); the divinity of Jesus – His virgin birth, death and resurrection; that mankind is sinful and the only way to salvation is by God’s grace through faith in Jesus Christ and his death on the cross and resurrection; this is evidenced by repentance, baptism, and a changed lifestyle. Article I – The Holy Bible

We believe that The Holy Bible, both the Old and New Testament, is the true Word of God, verbally inspired by the Holy Spirit, and was divinely revealed to its authors. (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21)

Article II – The Trinity

We believe in one God, the creator of all things, eternally existing in three persons: The Father, The Son, and The Holy Spirit; referred to as The Holy Trinity. (Deut. 6:4; Matt. 28.19; 1 Cor. 8:6)

Article III – Jesus Christ

We believe in the Divinity of Jesus Christ. We believe he was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, became God in flesh, and was crucified as a substitutionary sacrifice for our sins. On the third day he arose from the dead and ascended into heaven to be with The Father. We believe he is now, has been, and will be interceding on our behalf as High Priest. We believe he will return to set up His kingdom and judge both the living and the dead. (Col. 1:15; Phil. 2:5-8; Matt. 1:18-25; 1 Peter 2:24-25; Luke 24; Heb. 4:14-16; Acts 1:9-11; 1 Thess. 4:16-18; Matt. 25:31-46; Rev. 11:15-17, 20:4-6, and 11-15)

Article IV – Sinful Man and Salvation

We believe that man was a direct creation of God but fell into sin in the
garden and is therefore lost. We believe that “…unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” (John. 3:3 ESV) We believe in salvation by God’s grace, through faith in his Son, Jesus Christ. “He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.” (1 Peter 2:24 ESV) We believe all have sinned, and that anyone, regardless of their past or lifestyle, can repent and be saved; that repentance involves a turning from sin and entering into a covenant relationship with God. “What shall we say then? How can we who died to sin still live in it?”(Romans 6:1-2 ESV) We further believe that the punishment of the unbelieving and the rewards of the righteous are everlasting and conscious. (Gen. 1:26; Rom. 3:10, 23; Acts 13:38; John 3:16; Matt. 25:46; Romans 6:1; 1 Cor. 6:9-11; 2 Cor. 5:1; 2 Thess. 1:7-10)

Article V – The Church

We believe that The Church is a community of believers baptized by the Holy Spirit into one body. We believe its purpose and mission is to share the good news of Jesus Christ with all people. We believe the Church is the Bride of Christ and will one day be called up to meet the Lord before the Great Tribulation; and after will return with Christ and all the saints to establish His new Kingdom on Earth. (Acts 1:6-8, 2:41, 15:13-17; Eph. 1:3-6; 1 Cor. 12:12-13; Matt. 28:19-20; 1 Thess. 4:16-18)

Article VI – Gender

We believe that all humans, both male and female, are created in the
image of God. All people are beloved and have a divine nature and destiny. Gender is an essential characteristic of an individual’s identity and purpose and aligns with one’s biological s*x. We believe that God created man and woman in the garden; and any other gender identities that are inconsistent with an individual’s biological s*x are contradictory to God’s design. (Gen. 1:27-28, 2:21-23; Deut. 22:5; Rom. 1:26-27; 1 Cor. 6:9-10)

Article VII – Marriage & Sexuality

We believe that God created the covenant of marriage in the beginning; intended as a blessing for mankind before sin; between one man and one woman who enter into this covenant relationship and should not only complement one another, but should also serve and sanctify one another till death do they part. Furthermore, we reject all attempts by the world to redefine Biblical Marriage as anything other than the union of one man and one woman under the blessing of God. The unions between people of the same s*x or between more than one man and one woman are contrary to God’s design for mankind. We believe that any Homos*xual lifestyle is incompatible with Biblical
teaching and Christian life. (Gen. 1:27-28, 2:15-24; Lev. 18:22, 20:13; Matt. 19:4-6; Rom. 1:26-27; 1 Cor. 7:14, 1 Tim. 3:2)
