What’s your favorite camp activity?
Campfire on Mondays. The songs, the characters, the pie mafia! Love it!!

What made you want to work at camp this summer?
The opportunity to get out in nature and meet people who also love Jesus. I needed more fellowship and fresh air in my life. I also get to help make a difference in the lives and hearts of the kids that come here; I get to point the way to Jesus and show them what it looks like to follow Him.

What’s one fun fact about you?
I can whimstle. Humming and whistling at the same time.

What’s your favorite Bible verse?
1 Timothy 1:7. God’s been placing people alongside me this summer that have been speaking this over me and it’s been super encouraging!

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
My superpower would be the ability to completely heal. I have friends who cannot walk because they’re missing legs, I would like to grow their limbs back, give them their mobility back, and their independence, so they can dance and cook like they used to. They miss being able to...

What does being mean to you?
It means being in the world but not of it. Walking to the beat of the Lord’s drum, not following the main line norm. Setting the standard of my life higher than the enemy can reach...

What’s one thing you hope campers remember from their time at camp?
I hope the campers will remember the love of Jesus that we show them; that they are special and chosen by God to be a part of His family. I hope they remember that they can always trust in Jesus.

What’s your favorite camp activity?
I love Jesus Theatre. Seeing the campers give themselves to Jesus in a real and raw environment is a moment so encouraging to see, especially because my first Jesus Theatre is what brought me back to my faith.

What made you want to work at camp this summer?
Camp is my second home! I count down the days until I can be back here each year. I love seeing the impact I can make in the lives of all the campers, letting them know that in just one short week that they are so special and are a valued piece in this world. I love being a support and role model for the struggling campers, just as I had as a young camper.

What’s one fun fact about you?
I’ve traveled to 14 countries, about to backpack 5 more in January 🌎

What’s your favorite Bible verse?
Joshua 1:9 - Be strong and courageous! Do not be afraid or discouraged. For the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.

If you could have any superpower, what would it be?
Teleportation!!!

What does being mean to you?
Being to me means living your life the way God has set you out to live - a life filled with holiness and faithfulness.

What’s one thing you hope campers remember from their time at camp?
I hope that campers go back home and remember that they are loved and valued at camp by everyone. That they don’t need to pretend to be someone they are not, and that God will be by their side throughout every stage of their life.

Sports

2. What made you want to work at camp this summer?
I’ve always dreamed of working at a summer camp, and I wanted to grow closer to God while making a positive impact in kids’ lives

This is my first time being a counselor and my first time leaving my country

Teleportation, so I could come back to camp whenever I wanted

Being means living in a way that reflects God’s love, choosing kindness, serving others, and staying true to my faith every day
