The all nighter, although small, was a nice success! Thank you, everyone who helped pay for the food, who brought teens, who came and hung out with us, and who helped us set up. You're help was acknowledged and greatly appreciated!

As I sit here very tired after a great time of worship with SEEK 1st (Thanks guys!), a devotional, a pool tournament, pizza, and more coffee than I should really drink, I pondered the above verse that we shared with the teens. Our youth have so much to offer, and the adults in their lives need to let them know they are both capable and valued. How do you do this for the teens in your life? Or, if you're a teen, how do people do this for you? How are we helping them to set an example, other than giving them a list of rules? (Please feel free to respond in the comments.)

Looking forward to having the band SEEK with us tomorrow. Although "Just for You" is our young adult group, teens are welcome to join us. 7-9 this Sunday (June 14th). Come hang out with us at 412 Glen Avenue. It looks like the weather may cooperate enough to do everything outside. Yay!
