We are an independent Bible-believing church unaffiliated with any association or organization of churches. We are baptistic in doctrine and still believe the old-time ways. We believe personal holiness and separation from the world and its ways to be the natural result of a real personal, intimate relationship with the true Christ of the Bible. We are not contemporary in doctrine, worship, music,

or lifestyle. We believe the King James Version is God's preserved Word for the English-speaking people. We believe Jesus delivers from sin and that true believers do not continue in a sinful lifestyle. Check our statement of faith and our Articles page to understand more about us and what we believe.

Bible study begins with believing that the King James Bible is the preserved Word of God. When we approach it with reverence, humility, and a yielded heart, we can expect to increase our understanding of God, and all things pertaining to life and eternity. We must study to gain understanding, not merely knowledge, trusting the Holy Spirit to teach us as we compare Scripture with Scripture. If we come to God’s Word sincerely, confessing our sin, willing to obey, and expecting Him to give light, the Bible will reveal Christ, strengthen us, assure us, guide us, cleanse us, give us joy and peace, and make us approved unto God. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/52826151827268

When we know the will of God we should obey God promptly and guard our families carefully, because small delays and wrong choices can bring lasting consequences. Through this account of Jacob, Dinah, Simeon, and Levi, we see how lingering outside God’s clear direction, seeking acceptance from the world, and reacting in anger can bring trouble, shame, and sorrow to many lives. We are warned to walk close to God, protect our children while they are young, avoid the influence of the ungodly, and learn from Scripture so we do not repeat the same painful mistakes.

Jesus warned us that in the last days iniquity would abound and the love of many would wax cold. Do you feel it? Overall, people used to love more fervently and faithfully than they do now. The warmth is gone and there is lukewarmness, at the best. We must recognize that iniquity is basically lawlessness, which is the result of pride, rebellion, and unbridled selfishness, and that when INQUITY is prevailing it will destroy the trust, respect, and humility that real love requires. If we truly belong to God, we cannot let the iniquity of this age keep us from loving God and loving others. We must love God and others with sincere, fervent, unfeigned love. Our love for our family, our church, and the people around us should not depend on how they treat us, but should reflect the love of God shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost. After all, that is what the first and greatest commandment is about, and Jesus said everything else concerning moral law depends upon our obedience to God's command to love God and others.

Remembering and forgetting are both important parts of the Christian life. Reading through Psalm 77, we see how David fought discouragement by intentionally remembering God's faithfulness, promises, and past help instead of dwelling only on his troubles. We are encouraged to let memory humble us, hold us accountable, and remind us where God brought us from, while also learning to put away bitterness, shame, and forgiven failures. This message challenges us to remember on purpose—remember God's mercy, His promises, and His work in our lives—while pressing forward in faith and trusting His grace for the future. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/526261413133749

We must not just read the Bible, but truly study it, because sound doctrine comes from the Word of God and must agree with the whole counsel of Scripture. We must not depend on opinions, online teaching, or vain religious talk, but give ourselves to reading, doctrine, and careful study, comparing Scripture with Scripture and letting the Bible define its own words. God designed our minds to learn by association, and the King James Bible preserves the words, phrases, and patterns that help us search and understand truth rightly. If we want to grow beyond spiritual infancy, be stable in faith, and avoid error, we must make studying the Word of God a serious, lifelong part of our walk with the Lord. This message gives some instructions about how to study the Bible. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/52126155513437

We see in Jacob and Esau the difference between a godly life and a profane life, and how time, choices, and character lead men down very different roads. Jacob came humbly, seeking peace and reconciliation, while Esau came with strength and outward power; yet Jacob’s strength was in God, his family, and a spirit willing to forgive and be forgiven. We are reminded that true victory is not found in pride, force, or proving ourselves right, but in humility, forgiveness, and doing things God’s way. If we want peace, we must put away past wrongs, honor God openly, train our families to walk respectfully, and seek reconciliation with a right spirit, knowing that God blesses humility and uses forgiveness as a powerful testimony of His grace. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/521261411385823
