We are an independent Bible-believing church unaffiliated with any association or organization of churches. We are baptistic in doctrine and still believe the old-time ways. We believe personal holiness and separation from the world and its ways to be the natural result of a real personal, intimate relationship with the true Christ of the Bible. We are not contemporary in doctrine, worship, music,

or lifestyle. We believe the King James Version is God's preserved Word for the English-speaking people. We believe Jesus delivers from sin and that true believers do not continue in a sinful lifestyle. Check our statement of faith and our Articles page to understand more about us and what we believe.

The Bible is not merely a religious book or the thoughts of men about God, but the living, God-breathed Word of God. The same divine breath that spoke creation into existence gave us the Scriptures, which carry life, authority, power, and certainty. Because God’s Word is living, it quickens the soul, strengthens the believer, and throughly furnishes the man of God unto all good works. We need to be aware of the order, beauty, cadence, and majesty of the Authorized King James Bible, because it shows that the written Word bears the marks of the same Creator whose design is seen throughout creation. Christians are therefore called to read, believe, memorize, preach, and reverence the Bible as the living Word of God. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/6182613741633

Jesus is the true vine, and we cannot live, grow, or bear fruit apart from abiding in Him. As branches connected to Christ, we must stay close to Him, continue in His Word, and depend on His life working in us, because without Him we can do nothing. We also learn that the Father, as the husbandman, not only removes dead branches, but purges the fruitful ones by cleansing away what is impure, unnecessary, excessive, or harmful so that more fruit can grow. This purging may involve subtraction, pruning, and cleansing of that which would prevent the fruit (think of pests and disease), but it is the loving work of God to make our lives more fruitful in love, joy, peace, righteousness, truth, and a changed testimony that brings honor to Christ. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/61626212566102

We are reminded through Jacob’s delayed return to Bethel that it is dangerous to make vows to God, lose focus, and let the cares of life, work, and family business pull us away from what we promised Him. Jacob eventually came back to the place where God had met with him, but much had already been lost because he had not dwelt there as he should have. We learn that it is not enough to seek the house of God outwardly; we must seek the God of the house and make Him real in our homes, especially before the world gains the hearts of our children. Therefore, we must stay faithful to God, keep our word, dwell where He has met with us, and diligently teach our families to know Him, love Him, and walk with Him before it is too late. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/617261318442410

The best time to get right with God is not later, after the shame fades or circumstances feel easier, but right now, in the very moment of conviction and distress. Like Jonah and David, we may face guilt, fear, shame, and painful consequences because of sin, but we must not let the devil use those very things to keep us from crying out to God. We learn that true deliverance comes through repentance, confession, and turning to the Lord, not through hiding, delaying, or trying to fix ourselves first. When our sin is before us and we have no answer in ourselves, we must call on God, trusting that His mercy is greater than our unworthiness and that salvation and restoration are of the Lord. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/616261835352535

It is very revealing the parts of the Bible that the modern versions leave out.
