We are an independent Bible-believing church unaffiliated with any association or organization of churches. We are baptistic in doctrine and still believe the old-time ways. We believe personal holiness and separation from the world and its ways to be the natural result of a real personal, intimate relationship with the true Christ of the Bible. We are not contemporary in doctrine, worship, music,

or lifestyle. We believe the King James Version is God's preserved Word for the English-speaking people. We believe Jesus delivers from sin and that true believers do not continue in a sinful lifestyle. Check our statement of faith and our Articles page to understand more about us and what we believe.

Title: The Testimony of Jesus
Speaker: Mike Miller
Date: September 6, 2026
Bible: John 15:26-27

Jesus makes it as clear as possible that if we truly belong to Christ, the world will hate us because it hated Him first. John 15 makes it clear that there are only two spiritual camps: those who belong to Christ and those who belong to the world, and that a real disciple of Christ will not fit comfortably into a world that hates God, righteousness, and truth. Kindness, good works, and religious profession will not remove the reproach of Christ, because the world’s hatred is ultimately against Jesus Himself and all who bear His name. The message calls us to openly confess Christ, live unashamed of His name, bear His reproach faithfully, and remember that whatever we suffer for Him now will be worth it when we stand before Him. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/83126173181708

Salvation is not earned or kept by our works, but is the gift of God through Jesus Christ by grace, through faith. We learn from Ephesians 2, Galatians, and James that true faith does not remain dead, hidden, or merely verbal, but becomes living, visible, tried, and fruitful after salvation. We are shown that works of faith are not done to gain salvation, but because God has made us alive in Christ and given us the faith of the Son of God. The sermon calls us to stop trusting in our own strength, hate the trap of sin, resist temptation through Christ’s faith and power, and let our lives show real faith by obedience, growth, and victory over the flesh. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/8312616224780

We are shown through Jesus’ conversation with the woman at the well that true worship must be centered on the Father and grounded in both spirit and truth. Many people are willing to talk about worship and religion while avoiding the truth about their sin, just as the woman shifted the conversation from her immoral life to the question of where to worship. Jesus did not allow her diversion to take control, but lovingly and wisely brought her face to face with the truth about herself, her false worship, and her need for God. Believers must not be deceived with this common modern type of worship that is built only on emotion, music, tradition, or religious excitement, and seek true worship that responds to the truth of God’s Word through the witness of the Holy Spirit. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/942603804213

Joseph’s time in prison shows us that God remains faithful to His people even when they are falsely accused, forgotten, and left in hard places. Joseph continued to trust the Lord, serve faithfully, and care about others even while he was suffering unjustly, and that God showed him mercy by giving him favor in the prison. Through the dreams of Pharaoh’s butler and baker, we see that interpretations belong to God, that truth must be spoken honestly whether the message is pleasant or painful, and that God was still working out His purpose in Joseph’s life. We are encouraged not to lose hope when God’s plan seems delayed, because His timing is perfect, His preparation is purposeful, and He can lift His servant from the prison to the palace in a single day. www.sermonaudio.com/sermons/9126125833544
