The North Street Mission is dedicated to helping students come to know Christ and grow in their relationship with God.

We are also committed to helping students succeed and thrive by offering an after school tutoring program.

We had such a great night at The North Street Mission Christmas Banquet! There are so many different individuals, churches, school groups and community organizations that helped make this possible. It is truly amazing to see our community come together to love on these kids. Because of your generosity were able to provide gifts for 68 children. We cannot say thank you enough, and we are truly overwhelmed at your love and support for this ministry. You are all such a blessing to us!

We are so excited to be starting back our regular classes at The North Street Mission on Wednesday , September 3rd. There are several ways for you to get involved in this amazing ministry!

Tutoring Program:
We meet every Wednesday from 3:30-4:30, and we need lots of volunteers! This is a great opportunity for students needing service hours. Tutoring usually last about an hour. We give the kids a snack and then break them into groups by age. We help them with math and reading skills, homework, or study for tests.

Worship and Bible Study:
We meet every Tuesday at 4:30 for a time of worship and Bible study. This is a great opportunity for youth groups, teams or clubs. Your group would lead a devotional (15-20 minutes), if anyone is musical they can do songs, and then play some games or do a craft. We have several youth groups that faithfully come and volunteer with us and it is such a blessing!

From Mr. Otis:

To all of my Facebook friends, it is that time again to take children's to Bible camp. I remember the first time, they were so curious about what Bible camp was. But now they all trying to get first in line to go to Bible camp. It has been a privilege getting these children's to Bible camp and thanks to a lot of you for coming along beside me in this ministry. There is no way I would be able to do all of what I do if it had not been for the Lord sending you to us. And I am so thankful for I am not alone like the devil try to get me to believe, but many of you have been with me the whole time.
The cost of the camp is $130 per child and we will be taking 30 children, 15 boys and 15 girls.

Thank you so much to the Ellis Elites for hosting an Easter egg hunt for us this year!! The kids had so much fun!! They shared a devotion, played games, hid tons of eggs, and even brought the Easter bunny! We are so thankful for their willingness to come and serve with us!!

These kids had a wonderful time at Camp Garaywa! They look forward to this trip all year long. There are so many different individuals, churches, businesses and community organizations that helped make this possible. It is truly amazing to see our community come together to love on these kids. Because of your generosity we were able to send 29 kids to camp this year. We cannot say thank you enough, and we are truly overwhelmed at your love and support of these precious children. You are all such a blessing to us!

Thank you so much to Sandhill Baptist Church for coming and leading our Bible Study yesterday! They bring their youth group once a month to serve at the Mission and our kids get so excited when they come. We always have a great time! We are so thankful for your faithfulness and willingness to serve!!
