It was a busy weekend for the kids of Messiah ❤️

- Youth Group back-to-school glow party ✅
- Backpack blessing and prayers ✅
- Pencils with prayers ✅
- Kindergarten book gifts ✅

Sending up so many prayers over these, and all, children for the coming school year to be safe, happy, and show Jesus' light to everyone they meet.

Big thank you to Elc Towing for installing this beautiful fence along our church cemetery! He's done so much to help restore and care for the property so I thought he deserved a shout out ✨🫶🏼

The results of our 2026 VBS Mission Project. The children collected personal care items and food for West Perry School Children in need. They also raised $700 in the Penny Wars which will also go to West Perry.

I remember being so excited a few short years ago to have over 40 children attend Messiah's VBS program for the year. If you had told me what was to come I would have NEVER believed you... This past week we had over ONE HUNDRED kids join us throughout the week for our 2026 VBS. Every moment of the week was chaotic, exciting, and powerful. God is so, SO GOOD! Huge shout-out to Kayla, Christine, and everyone else who works so hard to pull this event off every year. 💙

Tonight the kids made American flags with a poppy flower and the Bible verse John 15:13 written on them. They also each got a mini soldier to put at their home to remind them to pray over our service men and women every day.

Please remember those who gave the ultimate sacrifice this Memorial Day weekend.

The youth group gathered after church today for muffins with Mom and to make an "all about my mom" letter. ✨
