What an INCREDIBLE day celebrating Shavuot and worshipping with Alarming Truth Ministry! God sent only a gentle cleansing rain in the midst of storms to our north and south, and we had an outpouring of such pure, undiminished joy! The kids had a blast. Dancing, feasting, awesome music, scripture reading, and family baptisms in unity with other believers. Quite literally everything a Feast celebration is meant to be! For those who were not with us, this is a Prayer Challenge that was given during Justin McCullough teaching on the Sabbath of 4/25/26. This is intended for our Fellowship and anyone who would like to join in to participate for the 4 weeks leading up to Shavuot. It is a guideline for daily prayer to help us overcome sabotage and distraction as a community, and to be supporting one another in the breakthroughs that are always possible in this season! There is no set amount of time to pray, and those participating may not choose to pray every point every day, but rather it is an outline of suggested prayers to help us be more effective and to follow the model laid out for victory in the book of Nehemiah.

Over a decade ago, Justin and Laura were very blessed and saw significant impact from doing a similar challenge issued by Passion for Truth ministries. While studying Nehemiah for this week's message, Justin was led to offer an opportunity for that same growth and depth of prayer for our own community, with a focus on standing against common snares and traps that hinder Believers. We pray that it is a blessing, and can't wait to hear about what God uses this for!

What a wonderful evening with even more wonderful people! Passover 2026 was a joy to celebrate, and a blessing to share with so many for their first time. 🙏 May your Passover, your Resurrection and First Fruits, and your week of Unleavened Bread be full of blessings and a deeper revelation of God's unending love for you, sending His eternal Word and His spotless Lamb that you might know it.

Well folks... our main teacher for today, our kids teacher, our youth discussion facilitator and both of our Torah Study leaders are unable to safely get to the church. And Gilmer EMA has issued a travel warning requesting people stay off the roads where possible. 😕❄️
This requires us to sadly cancel service again this week, which has never happened before (2 weeks in a row or even twice in a winter!)

We pray that everyone has a safe, cozy and blessed Sabbath, and that those able to safely travel can fellowship in worship and study with joy!

Time for our yearly begrudging err on the side of wisdom announcement!

Our leadership has kept a close eye on the weather, and while it looks like less heavy snow or ice than the original forecast, there is still major concern for a daytime thaw and refreeze on the roads. So, with so many folks coming from farther away and especially from north of Ellijay, we are making the call to cancel service for this Shabbat, January 24th.

We pray that everyone will have a blessed and safe Sabbath, and please reach out if there are any needs in preparing for the cold!
