Whoever you are and wherever you are on your journey of faith, you are welcome to worship with us. Our church was founded by individuals who traced their denominational roots to the Lutheran and Reformed traditions. We currently are a member of the Delaware/Maryland Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. The Reverend Jack Trautwein has been serving as our pastor since 2004. Our worsh
ip service begins at 9:30 A.M. and a healing and Communion service is held most Sunday mornings at 9:00 A.M. Sunday school for young children is held during the last half of the morning worship. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month except during the summer months. Under Pastor Jacks's leadership, we are a growing congregation. Some of our outreach ministry includes the Angel Tree for Lutheran World Relief, Garrett County Habitat for Humanity, the food pantry of St. John's Lutheran Church in Pimlico, a girl adventure crew, and a Boy Scout troop. Monthly social fellowship activities have included such things as college basketball games, touring local landmarks, and bus trips out of the area.
