Catalyst Missions Catalyst seeks to help end theological famine by offering robust Bible training around the world. The world is changing. A new day in missions has dawned.

With all the nations living among us and the majority of Christians residing in South America, Asia, and Africa, we have a responsibility to plant the Gospel and train the trainers. Catalyst Missions exists domestically to plant ethnic, indigenous churches and internationally to train pastors and leaders. Both of these aims seek to spread God's gospel for global impact.

Catalyst friends, we wanted to provide more graduation pictures from Nigeria and this amazing note from Pastor Ephraim.

“Sorry for sending you more pictures of our last graduation. I am just overwhelmed with the success of graduation ambassadors of Christ and the catalyst missions in the heart of Islamic state in Nigeria. We have commissioned them to go into the Muslim and non Muslims communities with sound word of God.

We are looking forward to your approval to embark on translating all the modules into Hausa the local language of the Kano people and majority of the Northern Nigerian people. When accomplished, this project will allow faster spread of training amongst the local people. It will also allow the use of the materials in small groups training and discipleship.”

Catalyst friends, this is a big week! We are celebrating the graduation of our first cohort group in northern Nigeria 🇳🇬 Here is an update from Nathan.

Day 2 of training is complete. A few quotes and updates, along with a prayer request.

Student Testimonies & Quotes:
“So what I am learning is that the goal of sanctification is Christlikeness.”

Ephraim sharing some graduation updates drops this sobering note: “We are graduating 27 students. Most of the other training centers in Nigeria have had students who died. This center will graduate all the students who started with us.”

A pastor that serves in one of the more challenging contexts, if there is such a thing in Nigeria and took two days of travel to finish in Kano because his denomination moved him had this to share when I asked for any recent testimonies where God used memorized scripture to help in a unique moment.

“Muslims are trying to get rid of Christians. They do not even hide it. I was the only Christian on one of the transports. Discussion began on how to exterminate all Christians. I began to silently pray. God’s wisdom led me to reach out to a friend to share all travel details in case something happened to me. Aaa I prayed I was reminded that God was in control. I was also reminded of several of God’s promises.”

Conversation began today on the possibility of starting a new training center in the Northeast, the very heart of persecution.. “When Christians are distressed they need the Word of God more. This will edify the church and help us begin training pastors in Cameroon” 🇨🇲

“God is very faithful; my training at the Bouake (IC) site is going very well. We are currently studying Module 5 (Hermeneutics). Thank you so much to the Lord Jesus Christ; the Catalyst Missions training is a pure blessing for the body of Christ here in Africa.”
