Happy mothers day to all the special mothers. We pray you are blessed today with great times making memories, and time well spent with your loved ones.

We love the mothers in our church.

Let’s be honest - missing Church isn’t a “busy schedule” problem.
It’s a heart problem.

Because when something matters, you make time for it. Period.

You’ll wake up early for work.
You’ll stay up late for entertainment.
You’ll rearrange your whole week for what you value.

Stop calling it “just a season” when you consistently choose everything except GOD’s House.

This isn’t about legalism - it’s about loyalty. And some people have gotten too comfortable disconnecting from the very place GOD uses to correct, cover, and grow them.

You can’t be strong spiritually while staying absent spiritually.

And let’s go further - stop expecting breakthrough while treating obedience like it’s optional.

At some point, it’s not “life got busy”… it’s “GOD got bumped.”

And anything you keep bumping has stopped being important to you.

The question isn’t why you miss Church.

The real question is:
“What has stolen the place GOD’s House used to hold in your life?”

Closer to God, Closer to Each Other

“Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12

Look at the two diagrams. They tell a simple but profound truth:

When a couple drifts from God, they naturally drift from one another. Selfishness, busyness, resentment, or distraction pulls them apart until the distance feels vast.

But when both husband and wife draw near to God by pursuing Him, listening to His Word, obeying His ways, and depending on His grace... something beautiful happens.

They move closer to each other.

The same God who draws their hearts upward also weaves their hearts together. The “third strand” in their marriage makes the whole relationship stronger, more loving, and more resilient.

Marriage was never meant to be two people trying to hold it together on their own strength. It’s a three-way relationship: husband, wife, and God at the center. The closer you both get to the Lord, the more unity, joy, patience, forgiveness, and love will flow between you two. 🩷

Bitterness feels justified, but it slowly poisons the one holding it.
Revenge feels powerful, but it pulls you further from the heart of God.

The Holy Spirit doesn’t lead you there.

He will confront what’s inside you, not to shame you—but to free you.
He will call you to forgive, not because they deserve it, but because your soul does.
Because healing can’t grow where bitterness is being fed.

Forgiveness isn’t pretending it didn’t hurt.
It’s choosing to release what’s trying to harden your heart.

You can keep rehearsing the offense…
or you can start surrendering it.

One keeps you stuck.
The other sets you free. 🤍🙏🏻
