Devotional:

In a world that often says "do whatever you want," the church is called to a higher standard of love. Real love desires the absolute best for someone, which means we cannot celebrate or ignore wrongdoingβ€”we must gently guide our brothers and sisters back to the path of righteousness.

Holding each other accountable is an act of care. It protects our hearts and our community.

"As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." β€” Proverbs 27:17
Let us continue to love one another with a love that heals and restores.

"The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, And saves such as have a contrite [humble] spirit." β€” Psalm 34:18

We are gathering tonight at 6 PM to lift our voices and humble our hearts before Him.

We would love to see you there! ❀️

πŸ›‘ Chasing Trends vs. Serving the King

Our world often screams that success is measured by a title, the most followers, or the highest income paying job. But in the Kingdom of God, the metric is different.

Jesus saidβ€œThe greatest among you will be your servant.” (Matthew 23:11)

Heaven doesn’t applaud the loudest boast; it recognizes the humble heart. Let’s stop chasing titles and start chasing opportunities to serve.

✨ Action: How can you serve today without expecting anything in return?

πŸͺ£ What’s in Your Bucket? πŸ’§

The woman at the well (John 4) carried a heavy, invisible bucket. Every time she went to town, people added to it: whispers of her past, judgment, shame, and labels. She was trying to fill it with relationships and approval, but it kept leaking, leaving her dry and exhausted.

Do we still do this today?
Oh yes, we do.

❌ On Social Media: People drop "buckets" filled with FOMO (fear of missing out), curated perfection, and comparison.
❌ Face-to-Face: We add buckets with gossip, unrealistic expectations, and judgments on people's lives.

But look at what Jesus did. He didn't come to add to her bucketβ€”He came to tell her to drop it.
He offered her "Living Water"β€”a well inside her that never runs dry. He replaced her shame with purpose.

✨ The Takeaway: Stop letting the world put things in your bucket, and stop trying to fill your own. Come to Jesus to be filled, and leave your bucket at the well!

πŸ“– Bible Verse:
"....But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life." β€” John 4:14 (KJV)

πŸ™Our Prayer: "Lord, may we think before we speak or post on social media or have a conversation face to face. Never let us do anything that will put a weight in someone else's bucket. Us as Christians are to uplift each other not weigh others down. Lord, help us see our words and actions do matter and have lasting impacts on others. Amen!"

Too powerful not to share!πŸ”₯

If you attack the body of Christ you are basically hurting God!

Choose unity, choose love, choose humility!❀️

The Spirit of God produces unity, not division.

You cannot claim to be filled with the Holy Ghost while tearing down the people of God. The same Spirit that fills a believer teaches love, respect, and honor for the body of Christ.

For 1 Corinthians 12:27 says that we are the body of Christ, and each one of us is a part of it.

When you attack the body, you wound something that belongs to God.

Choose unity.
Choose love.
Choose humility.

Let the Spirit lead your words and your actions.
