Following Jesus and carrying out the good work He left for us to do is an epic quest - a journey that none of us can complete on our own. This month in Mosaic Elementary, our theme is “Trek: Don’t stop, don’t give up— God is with you” so kids can remember that God will help them on this grand adventure every step of the way.

Jesus’ close friend John shares a vision he has received from Jesus in Revelation. Much of this vision challenges believers to stay faithful because God will make everything right in the end for those who follow Jesus. There will be no more sickness, or sadness ever; it is the beginning of a brand new story: life forever, with God!

Bottom Line: God will make everything right in the end.
May Memory Verse: Galatians 6:9 NIrV

This month in Mosaic Preschool, we want every preschooler to know “How wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ” (Ephesians 3:18 NIV). Let’s pray for our preschoolers that they will grow to love and admire Jesus more and more as we discover that Jesus cares about everyone. When people help us, we can say “Hat’s off, thanks for helping!”

Yesterday, we learned about Jesus calling Matthew, a tax collector, to be his disciple. Matthew is so excited that he has a dinner and invites other tax collectors to come and meet Jesus too. Some of the religious leaders asked Jesus’ friends, “Why is Jesus eating with tax collectors and people who have done wrong things?” Jesus said, “Those who are healthy don’t need a doctor. Sick people do.” Jesus loved Matthew and his friends, even though they had done wrong things.

Bottom Line: Jesus loves us no matter what because Jesus cares about everyone.

We continue our encounter from last week with Saul, now called Paul, after many years of traveling and starting new churches. Paul has been arrested and is sent to Rome for trial. Along the way, Paul faces a 2 week storm at sea, is shipwrecked, then snake-bitten… a ton of stuff! But through it all, he continues to trust and listen to God.

Bottom Line: Don’t give up on God when bad things happen.

Yesterday, we learned about Jesus traveling through a place called Samaria. Samaritans do not worship or believe the same way Jesus and his disciples did. When Jesus asked a Samaritan woman for a drink of water, she was surprised. But Jesus loves everyone everywhere. Jesus tells her that he is the special person that God sent to rescue everyone. He is God’s son. The woman is so excited that she tells everyone about Jesus!

Bottom Line: Jesus cares for people who are different because Jesus cares about everyone.

The religious leader, Saul, travels to Damascus to arrest Jesus’ followers, but on the road he has a dramatic meeting with Jesus that leaves him blinded. When God sends Ananias to help restore Saul’s sight, Saul begins to see everything in a brand new light. Instead of arresting Jesus’ followers, Saul preaches Jesus so persuasively that even a plot to kill Saul can’t stop him.Bottom Line: God can help you see things in a new way.

Yesterday, we learned about Zaccheus, who was a tax collector. He had taken so much money from people that it was unfair. One day, Zaccheus climbs a fig tree just so he could see Jesus. Jesus stops, calls him by name, and wants to go to Zaccheus’ house. Jesus knows that Zaccheus has done wrong things, but Jesus loves and cares fore everyone no matter what. Zaccheus changes! He promises to give back the money he had taken and much more!

Bottom Line: Jesus came to help people who are sick and hurting and do wrong things - Jesus cares about everyone!
