We have many amazing partnering parishes and other institutions, together with Hunger Task Force, that make our programs possible. We are currently seeing record numbers - for the Hot Meal Program, we had 628 meals served on Tuesday and 686 on Thursday. For context, in October 2024 we averaged 323 each night, and that was our biggest month of the whole year!

Please consider supporting our food outreach programs to help make sure that we are able to serve all those come to us looking for help.

See https://www.wesharegiving.org/app/giving/WeShare-20001698?tab=home and choose "Meal Outreach."

We are over the moon excited to tell you that we have an official blessing (opening) date for the Safe Haven Baby Box in Elkhorn!! More details will follow but we hope to see the whole community, friends and supporters on Monday, November 25th at 3 p.m. at the fire station. The ceremony will have a few guest speakers, the official blessing by Father Oriol of St. Patrick Parish followed by a hospitality reception. We can’t wait to make this important tool available to parents in crisis. This is one step in our goal to end unsafe infant abandonments in Wisconsin. **Critically important to note that the box will NOT be active until a final training takes place with shbb.org that day, and the blessing occurs.**
