***UPDATE: Our back to school backpack and supplies mission is nearly complete with items for all 2 dozen backpacks to be filled, thanks to several generous donations. However, there is still time to help donate the remaining items needed to make sure that local area school districts can distribute filled backpacks to families within their district who are in need of help.

Can you help us by donating any of the following items that are remaining to acquire?
- Folders (Red, Blue, Yellow, Green)
- Index cards
- 1 subject notebooks (Red, Green Yellow)
- Loose leaf paper
- Pink erasers (2pk)

Backpacks have been purchased and are ready to be packed by our VBS kiddos with donations of school supplies. Don't delay! There is still time to participate in this kingdom mission effort if you feel the Lord calling you to do so. As we enter into mid-summer, we at Amen Adventures are preparing for the season that will quickly be approaching us: Back to School. In 2023, we did a back to school supplies mission where we were able, with the help of many generous donors, to supply backpacks filled with supplies to area school districts who then were able to distribute them to families in need. We have organized to complete this mission again! We will be collecting school supplies from now until the last week in July (July 30th) and then our VBS participants will be helping us pack the backpacks (July 31) as a way to teach and demonstrate to each of them how to be the hands and feet of Jesus. We are excited to announce that the Amen Adventures summer VBS registration is now open! We are thrilled to share that July 28 - 31 2025 we will be "adventuring" to the land of Israel. Each day we will visit and learn about the places that Jesus walked and every day's adventure will reveal more of who Jesus is and His deep love for us. This is a trip of a lifetime that you won't want to miss out on!

This month's mission feels too intimate and personal to share all of the details about but just know that God is moving and what I got to observe in my home from our next generation was absolutely breathtaking and so beautiful. Our mission as Amen Adventures Academy is to disciple the sons and daughters of the King towards missions, ministry and great Kingdom impact. Today, my heart was so full watching each of the kids take the lead and serve while we as mamas stood back and got to observe them "doing the work" with JOY. It's what we strive to teach them, have them understand, and ultimately what we pray they will choose without our guidance and direction. Today, they all willingly joined in and wanted to serve, in a new and exciting way. Would you join us (as your read this post) in praying for the mission that was completed today, for the people who will be blessed by what God placed on our hearts, and for the Amen Adventures Academy kiddos to continue to grow in love with Jesus as well as grow in their knowledge and understanding of who Jesus is? Yesterday we gathered together to prepare Valentine's bags for seniors who we will be visiting in a few weeks. The prayer that was prayed over these bags, the love and thoughtfulness that went into making sure each person would feel loved and special was beautiful to witness and be a part of. We look forward to sharing our Valentine's day delivery of these bags with you in the upcoming weeks. In the meantime, would you join us in praying for health and wellness over the seniors as well as our families, praying for a receiving of the bags but more importantly the love of Jesus, and heavenly joy experienced by all who are a part of the celebration.

We joined together this morning as instruments for the Lord and created tie blankets that will be given to New Day Clinic in memory and celebration Isaac's 1st birthday in Heaven. Our families worked to make 9 blankets and even 5 knitted baby hats, each of which were prayed over. To know without waivering that God knows all the details about every one of the sweet babies and families who will recieve these blankets is so powerful and a beautiful reminder that He loves each of us and you just as much.

Do you have fleece fabric laying around at home? We need your help! We are planning something special for our October mission this year. It's hard to believe but one year ago, our family welcomed a sweet little girl, Eden, into our family. To our amazement, God waited until her birth to actually share with us the news that Eden was a twin. Her twin brother, Isaac, will always be remembered. As a way to celebrate and honor all babies, we have decided to do a tie blanket drive and donation. As a homeschool co-op, we will then assemble and pray over the tie blankets that we receive and donate them to New Day Clinic in Walworth County. If you have any fleece fabric (1+ yds) lying around that you would like to donate or you would financially like to support this effort, please let me know. All fabric will be needed by Thursday, October 24. As always, we appreciate all prayers as well.

Today, Amen Adventures Academy revisited a nursing home that we've grown to have a special relationship with. Over the past year, we've visited the residents three times because we believe that intergenerational relationship and sharing the love of God with them is important. We enjoyed coloring, musical performances, singing, and a fan favorite... bingo! Our prayer is that above all they'd be touched by the Kingdom light that these kids carry with them...and that's Jesus.
