Join us for a 3-day Vacation Bible School at Elkhorn Community Church June 22–24 from 6PM–8PM each evening!

Children and youth from Preschool through High School are welcome to attend as we dive into Bible stories, music, games, crafts, snacks, and fun together while learning to stay Anchored in Christ.

Please join us in prayer for our partner organization, MCC Appalachia Build as they begin another home repair season.

As we begin another home repair season with the MCC Appalachia Build program, we humbly ask for your prayers.

Please pray for safety over every volunteer, staff member, homeowner, and community partner involved in this work. Pray for protection while traveling, wisdom in every project, strength for the work ahead, and unity among the teams serving throughout the season.

We also ask for prayers for a smooth and productive season — that each home repair project would come together according to God’s timing and provision. May every nail driven, board replaced, and hand extended be a reflection of Christ’s love and compassion.

Most importantly, pray that God would bless this season abundantly, opening doors to serve families well, build meaningful relationships, and bring hope and encouragement to every home we enter.

Thank you for standing with MCC Appalachia Build in prayer as we continue this mission of service in our Appalachian communities.

Today we honored our graduates at Elkhorn Community Church!

From left to right: • Parker Coleman — graduating high school with plans to attend Morehead State University and major in Physical Therapy. • Kaden Adkins — graduating 8th grade. • Jaron Overstreet — graduating 8th grade. • Brayley Stiltner — graduating Kindergarten.

Not pictured, but we would also like to honor: • Hannah Overstreet — graduating with her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing. • Liam Myers — graduating from Preschool.

Following the service, graduates and their families enjoyed a special dinner together.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this day so special for our graduates. We are proud of each of you and excited to see what God has in store for your future!

Today at Elkhorn Community Church we honored our mothers, and also recognized our teachers and nurses during their national appreciation week.

We are so thankful for the care, dedication, compassion, and service they give each day to our families, schools, churches, and communities. Your work makes a difference, and you are deeply appreciated. 💐

ECC Kids Easter was such a blessing! ✝️

Our kids had so much fun with the egg hunt, activities, and time together—but most importantly, they heard the good news that Jesus is alive!

Grateful for every smile, every laugh, and every opportunity to pour into the next generation. 💛
