As we celebrate Father's Day this weekend, we are so thankful for our godly fathers who love their wives, love their children, and most importantly love their heavenly Father. Sometimes we wonder how earthly fathers view their own children, but to learn "How Our Heavenly Father Sees His Children", look no further than His holy word. Scripture tells us exactly how He sees us when He sees Jesus first; having His righteousness applied to us by faith alone. Join us this Sunday BEFORE 10:30 am to be amazed and encouraged to either learn or to be reminded how the Father truly views His children!!!

So thankful for so many blessings this year so far. One huge one is the much needed and long awaited re-coating of our roof. It looks so beautiful. Also this time of year our flowers are in full bloom, and it’s all in perfect time for our VBS (hint, wink…make sure you sign up your kids). Pictures do not do them justice; thank You Jesus!!!

In part 2 of our David and Goliath message, we learn that Psalm 23:3 parallels perfectly with this text. God "renews the shepherd boys strength", He guides David along the "right paths", "bringing honor to His name". A few questions come to mind in this passage; why did David reject King Saul's armor? Why did David pick up 5 stones when the 1st one took out Goliath? Was Goliath being "shielded" from authentic courage? Did the sling and stone actually kill Goliath or did something else?
