Join faith leaders and community members from across Indiana for the 10th Prayer Vigil for and with our Immigrant Neighbors at Miami Correctional Facility.

📍 Near Bunker Hill, Indiana
📅 Monday, May 18, 2026
🕑 2:00 p.m.

As concerns continue about the use of Miami Correctional Facility for immigrant detention, this public prayer witness will call for transparency, accountability, and policies rooted in compassion and justice.

The gathering will include prayer, song, scripture, and remarks from Bishop Timothy Graham, alongside people of faith from many traditions standing together for the dignity and humane treatment of immigrants and refugees.

Rev. Chris Lantz shared at a recent press conference:

“It is our task to call it how we see it and we will continue to do that until ICE detentions stop here at Miami Correctional.”

All are welcome to stand in prayerful solidarity with immigrant communities and bear witness to hope, justice, and compassion.

Christ is Born! On this joyful day we praise Almighty God, who gave his only-begotten Son to take our nature upon him. In the Word made flesh, we behold God’s glory—full of grace and truth—and are made children of God by adoption and grace. Born anew through the Holy Spirit, we are daily renewed by the light and life of Christ within us.
