Each Sunday morning begins with a meet and greet gathering in the fellowship hall. Sunday School classes for all ages are held at 10am, followed by a worship service at 11am. The worship includes both traditional and contemporary Christian music, prayers, a Christian message based on scripture, and a children's message. ry is available during both Sunday School and worship for infants and preschool children. Celebration of the Lord's Supper, also known as Holy Communion, is the first Sunday of the month. Special services are offered throughout the year according to the Christian calendar. Within the life of the church and the community, there are many opportunities for Christian ministry and service. There are short-term and ongoing Bible study groups, yearly mission teams, activities for youth, and several community outreach events at Elkhart First United Methodist.
