On Saturday October 19th we held our last ride of the year at Russ Forest in Decatur Michigan. What an awesome day God gave us to ride and fellowship with one another. After a great ride (thanks for leading us David) we shared a meal together and discussed some of our favorite moments we’ve had in the last 15 years. We have gathered together to ride and enjoy the horses God created. Our goal has always been to share the gospel and Salvation through Jesus Christ our lord and savior!

On Saturday September 21st we held our monthly ride at Potato Creek Sfate Park. It was little unseasonably warm to say the least. But those who came enjoyed the ride and fellowship our scripture for the day was from Philippians 4:4-7 check it out and Rejoice! Join us on October 19 th at Russ Forest in Decatur, MI. Sometimes you have to have a little rain to make things beautiful! Thank you to the brave souls that loaded up their horses and joined us this past Saturday, August 17, 2024 for a beautiful ride! There were 17 riders that were able to take in the beautiful property of Yoder Land & Cattle. They were able to see some new trails with Bob Yoder as their guide. We followed up the ride with our meal and some live Christian music performed by Tim Mullins. Then Dean Yoder brought us a biblical message using his horse. Dean spoke about humbling yourself and denying yourself and letting God take the lead and following his direction for a fruitful ride.

No wind, no bugs and perfect temperatures as we gathered for our July ride at Fred Russ Forest! Twelve riders enjoyed God’s beautiful landscape. It’s always a good time when we ride at this park because we can get our hooves wet in a creek. We were blessed to have two other Cowboy for Christ Chaplains Orlin and Kelly, join us from Winamac Indiana with their friend Carey. The day closed with great fellowship as we enjoyed lunch together followed by a biblical message in James 1:19-27. We discussed the skill to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry. Remember to be salt and light to everyone you meet!

Join us for our next ride August 17 at Yoder’s Land and Cattle Co. The ride will be at 3:00pm. Dean Yoder will bring us the message using his horse. This will be a day filled will a scenic ride, great food and a powerful message! Here are a few pictures from today’s ride.

What a perfect day at Yoder’s Land and Cattle Co. for a horseback ride! We had 36 riders and 44 for lunch! Merle Schwartz brought us the biblical message on the most powerful tool all of us own…the tongue. He spoke on how we should bridle our tongues as we speak to one another and referenced James 1:26. We all need to take time to read this scripture and implement God’s word into our lives.
