Hello everyone,
Tomorrow is Jazz Sunday: one service at 10:00 AM. Jazz Sunday is one of our favorite days of the year at First Presbyterian Church. Tomorrow we are joined by some of the great Jazz musicians at the Elkhart Jazz Festival including headliner, David Bennett! Many of these musicians have been playing our Jazz Sunday service for years. They look forward to being with us just as we are thrilled to have them play for us! I hope you can join us and bring a friend!

I hope you can join us tomorrow, June 7, as we continue our summer sermon series in worship called “Promises to Keep.” The series is based on the stories in the book of Genesis and will focus on the many promises God made to his ancient people and the promises God makes to us yet today. Tomorrow’s sermon is about the promises that come to us through Abraham. It’s entitled, “The Promise of Relationship.” Join us as we celebrate God’s gracious love for us!

Hello Everyone!
Tomorrow, May 31, we are beginning a new sermon series in worship called “Promises to Keep.” The series will be based on the stories in the book of Genesis and will focus on the many the promises God made to his ancient people and the promises God makes to us yet today. Tomorrow’s sermon is all about the promises giving in the creation. It’s entitled, “The Promise of the Earth.” Join us as we celebrate God’s good gifts to us in creation!

Happy Birthday Everyone!
Tomorrow, May 25, is the birthday of the church – also known as Pentecost! I hope you can join us. Both the Sanctuary and the Journey Café look spectacular in all the fiery colors of Pentecost. We usually encourage you to wear red on Pentecost, but feel free to experiment with yellows or oranges as well. My sermon tomorrow is entitled, “Birthday Presents.” We will be thinking about the gifts of the Spirit and how we might use them to honor God. Tomorrow is also our Memorial Garden remembrance (after each service) during which we will remember those who have passed away in the last year. It promises to be a special day.

Hello everyone!
Please join us for worship tomorrow, April 26, for a combined worship service at 10:00 AM in the sanctuary to celebrate the ministry of International Pastoral Assistant, Rev. Paul Banchasawan. Paul will preach his final sermon to us, “I AM the Way, the Truth, and the Life!” We will also send Paul to his new call in Rochester and Plainview Minnesota with our prayers and our love. Be sure to plan to stay for the celebration luncheon immediately after worship in the Journey Café. It’s going to be a great day!
