The love of family and friends
Update from fall on Thursday, subsequent brain bleed and surgery last night… etc:

Richard has been alert and awake most of the day. Super headache much of the day of course but it’s eased now. We’ve kept ice on his head and neck most of the day. Swelling has gone way down.

He has eaten well. No nausea. Chewing has been tough as many cranial muscles are used to eat solid food.

Most tubes are out.
He’s suppose to get the cranial drain out sometime tonight. The neurologist has placed an order for him to move to a step down room sometime tonight. We are praising God for how well he has done.

Pray for pain to stay down and for him to continue to improve. He has not been up and on his feet yet. Hopefully that will be soon. I’m sure there will be tests / hurdles he must pass.

We have an urgent prayer request. Randall Coffey took his brother Richard to the ER in Boone this afternoon. He just messaged me and said they are flying him to Winston Salem with a brain bleed. Please be in prayer for him that they will be able to take care of it and that he will be okay soon. Thank you. Elmer Jones
